Sustainable Food Film & Panel Discussion: Eating Alabama
Join us in COSI’s Extreme Screen theater for Eating Alabama, an hour-long film that follows a young couple through their year-long commitment to eat only seasonal and locally-sourced food. Throughout their journey, they learn about how the agriculture industry has changed through the generations. The film will be followed by a panel discussion on sustainable food choices, moderated by Michael Jones, executive director and co-founder of Local Matters. Our panelists, including representatives from Whole Foods, Chipotle, and Swainway Urban Farm, will explore what sustainable food means in central Ohio.
The event is FREE and will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 6:30pm. A reception with light refreshments begins at 6:30pm.
